Creative Craft Challenge - It's only Words!

Hello peeps~
Today starts a new challenge over at Creative Craft Challenge 2  with the theme: IT'S ONLY WORDS!  So that means your card should not have any picture on it, kinds of simple huh!
We  are sponsored for this challenge by:

I chose to use what I had in my stash and my sentiment came from Birdie Brown, I kept in the blue shades since I don't have to many boy or men's cards left in my stash box.  This is one of my newest paper pads that I finally got to bust open and use them for the first time, and its from Basics.
some light coloring with Spectrum noir markers, stickles, added a button with baker's twine and I think it turned out CAS.   For more inspiration hop back over to Creative Craft and check out what the fortnight ladies from the DT have for this challenge.

Thanks for stopping by~

A Gift for someone special!

Wow it sure has been a while since I last posted, been done with a bad case of a cold.  I'm not quite back to full recovery yet at least I can stay seated longer instead of dozing off.   I think I've spent more time sleeping than I normally do.     Any way here is another project I did last Wednesday and couldn't get it posted.  Yes, that's how bad I was.    This was a gift I made for a special friend, I hope she got it in one piece.

Supplies used:
papers from My Mind's Eye - Indie Chic
Stamp ( Miyoko) Sister Stamps
Spectrum noir markers
Spellbinders ovals  & scallops
stickles, glossy accents, pop up dimensionals
post it notes, offray ribbon for the pen, (those Pental pens were just a big longer so it stuck out of the organizer just a bit)  I will have to use them on the other ones I'm making, since I bought a whole box of them, I didn't really check them out good before I purchased them.

Thanks for stopping by~ I'm way behind in commenting so please pardon me.

I want to do so much but like their is not enough hours during the day to get my wants and needs accomplished.  LOL!   Anyhow I've been jumping around with my projects again and this time working on some birthday gifts that are coming up in a couple of weeks for my family.   If you're on FB you may have already seen this on my yesterday's posting, I've been trying to get it posted their first then onto my blog if not the same day the following day.   I have a card that I'm almost done, it's matching up to this gift card purse.   Will try to get it posted later.    So here is my cute purse... Love it!  I stuck a $20.00 in there just to show you how it looks, but I will be getting a gift card to put in there instead.    Easy peasy, so many possibilities in creating it.  I hope you like it too~

Getting organized!

Here's another project I'm working on as some Christmas stocking  stuffer's , I did an organizer that sometimes we all need when we are out and about.  This fits perfectly in your glove compartment, your bag, brief case or what ever you tote around.   The compartment fits perfectly for little reminder cards we get from the doctor, dentist or eye doctor or any appointment card.   And great for a gift card too.  Just decorate to your likings and wah lah, you have a great gift giving.  For this organizer I paired them up with the paper pad For the Record 2 (Echo Park), stamp from a $1.00 bin that I found at BF Craft like years ago, candy dot in the center from Stampin Up, sentiment tape from a RAK, 2 sizes of Post it Notes, my fave pen that I like to write with Pilot G207 and  sturdy ribbon as a holder for my pen.  Their are so many possibilities with this organizer, great for teacher's, going away gifts, retirement, party favors for some awesome women in your life whether if it's your mom, aunt, sister or your BFF.   Hummm got you all thinking about this one, huh~  LOL~  I'm making a few more and will post as I go along....
Thanks for peeking in and I would love to see what you have planning for your holiday gift giving....

True friendship needs no words!

Here's a new digital image that I got yesterday from Mo's Digital (Moon Owl).  It was on a special for just a $1.00 but it's back to regular price now.  I just love them, they have this uniqueness in their features and to me are just beautiful birds.   I colored my image with  Spectrum noir markers, Shinhan twin markers for the outline of my image and used my new Deco Art that I just received for my snow.  Love how pretty my snow effects looks in real.   Added some candy dots from Stampin Up, sentiment from Kaiser stamps and MTI tape for some decor.   I really think I'm going to plan using this image for some 2014 calendar projects or maybe a wall decor.   Will add this idea to my wish list and share when I get them done.

Be back soon~

Here's my final make of my treat boxes!

I started with 9 boxes but ended up making 20 of them.  I couldn't fit them into my picture so what you see is them be cramped up together.   I had (6) bags of assorted  chocolates but each box has a total of (12) in each box.  Yes, my hubby said I was a bit generous but it's Halloween and even if the little ones can't eat them, their parents will.  LOL!  I'm very pleased how much these treat boxes can hold, of course it can be shortened and make great party favors too.  Check out my bloggy friend Sherrie, I shared my template with her and she turned them into some awesome Halloween treat boxes too.
For my images, I did 5, spiders, 5 bats, 5 pumpkins, 5 ghosts using my Cricut.  The inner bags were tied with twine  and ribbon for the outer bags.  The only thing I have to add on are the tags with the names on.

And here's my Taco at 9 months.  He was waiting for
me to give him his treat.

Yippee these are all done, now to start planning my Christmas projects.....
Toodles for now - thanks for stopping by!

Sneak Peek in what I"m working on!

Happy Monday peeps~
Hope you're weekend was awesome, I've done no crafting over the weekend.  I committed myself to helping hubby do some major cleaning around our house.  We tore down our fence frame in front of our house and re-build a new one.  After years of being weather beaten and faded paint we decided to give it an up do.   Love the new look now, and being that the holiday's are approaching we decided to do some general cleaning around the home.  While we waited for the paint of the frames to dry, we jump into taking our window screens down and giving them some washing.  Weather was really beautiful over the weekend and it was perfect doing what we wanted to achieve.   Whew came Sunday evening we were both pooped working so hard.   I've tried sneaking in between of some breaks we took and catching up commenting to all my bloggy favorites, if I didn't get to you yet I'm playing catch up today in between of getting caught up with my DT commitments and starting on my holiday projects.
Last night I dreamt of doing something different for this Christmas as far as money holders.  And it was really weird  I played around with some junky papers first, didn't like the way it looked and kept tossing out all my papers and this was all in my dream.  When I got back home from my workout this morning, I tried to visualize what I wanted to make and lord behold here is what I ended up putting together.    Of course I will be adding more embellishes to it and making each one different and I will post as I get them accomplished.
Hehe, I guess dreams can come true....I think this looks really cute.   I'm kind of proud of myself.

Here's what I used to make this present money holder:
Papers - My Minds' Eye
Offray ribbon, gold cord, sentiment (My Creative Time)
Spellbinders oval & scallops

Thanks for peeking in - hope to get more of these weird dreams again, LOL!

Aloha Friday peeps~
We're starting a new challenge over at Kitty Bee Designs and with the fun challenge "Halloween".   The DT have put together some awesome inspiration for you all so be sure to stop by and check them out... While you're at be sure to stop by their blogs and say hello while you are there.

For this challenge I decided to put together a 3 x 3 note card treat holder.  It actually can hold two of those fun size candies.  All I did was cut a 6 x 3 cardstock, scored it at 3" corner round the top and wah lah.  Added some papers I had from scrap, colored my cute bat with Spectrum noir makers, added a ribbon, button, floss, computer generated my sentiment on Stampin window label.   Fast and easy to make and great for any last minute treat giveaway.  I hope you'll try it and put your wild creation to your project.

Hope we see you all  on this fun challenge...
Take care and have a crafty day & safe weekend ahead..
