It's already mid-week and some of you must be waiting for the long three- day weekend coming up..
We had no plans so I know for sure where I will be and what I will be doing- and that is crafting...I got alot going on my plate and I really need to get started. I was asked to do a combo invitation for a 25th business anniversary and also a birthday party for the president of the company.. And we are talking 150 - 200 invitations . Yep, I will have to rock on this one, the event will be for November so I have all this month to get this completed between other projects I'm working on...
I finally got myself into a routine with my cardmaking, before I would prep my card when I'm done stamping and so forth. Well I came up with a theory for myself and I think it is working out. I've been cutting up my card sizes in between of my cardmaking I find this is easier than doing it the same time prepping after stamping. Since I do alot of different styles of cardmaking, I've been cutting them up and just prepping the base of my cards. So when I decide what stamp or digi I going to be doing at that particular time I already have my card base ready. It makes life so simplier and easy for me this way.. As far as the DP that is done when I decide what card base I will be doing and what the image is. (This kinda makes sense, huh!)
Anyhoo, I have a RAK and Secret Sister Swap to share, so to start it off my RAK that I received was from a great blogger friend Margie she sent me this Sizzix Little Pumpkin set, so I decide to create a card with this and I used C.C.Designs (Love Lolita Pumpkin). This stamp was inked up with MS and promakers, stickles, scraps, and yes did it on the recessed window style card. Thank you Margie, and if you haven't been to
her bog hop on over she does some fantastic creativity. So here is Little Pumpkin:

Well this will be it for now, I'm back with my bunch of cardstock....

Hugs to you all!

That's a great idea, Shirl - I usually do it the other way round, choose my image, colour and then make the base but soemtimes I lose all my mojo after carefully colouring!
