Happy Birthday to my FIL!

Here's a card I had posted on FB yesterday and would share this to my bloggy friends that don't have FB.    My FIL through his younger days always dreamt of having a motorcycle but never could afford in getting one.   His country buddies would go cruising out in the country side of Hamakua and just hang out at their favorite beach spot and chrome up their motorcycles.   He always wanted a bike in black/gray/silver, so my hubby put on his thinking cap and decided this birthday he wanted a card with a motorcycle on it so at least he can just drool on it.   Now being that his way older of course I don't think he could handle holding up one of them, LOL!  So I googled for a Harley Davidson image and this is what I came up with.  As you can tell I created a little beach scene,  that's where you could find him every weekend or on his day's off at the beach.

For this scene card, I sponged in a cloud die to make the clouds, the water and the sand are scraps of papers that I had in my stash box and I don't have any recollection from who they are from.   My coconut tree die is from Die-Namics, sentiment is a laser cut from Island Scrapbooking, added gems on the corners of my card.  The bike image was colored with  Shinhwan twin markers and Spectrum noir, added some glossy accents to the lights and you can't really tell by the picture but on the gas tank and seat I used a sliver glittered pen that made the bike pop it looks so awesome in real.   My hubby freaked out on his dad's card that I made for him.... His birthday is coming up this coming week so I can't wait to see what he says when he opens up his card...  My hubby got to excited that he wrote in the inside of the card so I couldn't take a picture of it... I did another coconut tree die with a digital stamp image of a man snoozing  under the tree.
Well that's it for now...
We are heading into town to grab our paint, we are going to be re-doing our master bath it's been 10 years since it got a face lift, so I want to take it up to another level and change the colors and the fixtures.... So I will be busy working on this project and with my Easter baskets that I'm trying to complete too...
Hope to back soon!
Enjoy your crafty moments~

For some bunny special!

Hello peeps~
It's mid-week and already towards the ending of March, yikes soon those bunnies will be hopping around.  LOL!  Have you caught up with all your Easter projects yet?  I'm waiting for a happy mail to get here so I can start working on my projects.    For today's posting I have one of Peachy Keens latest stamps that came out, when I first seen it I knew I had to get this set.  Their PK faces always makes me smile they just got the cutest expressions on them.   I'm actually inspired by one amazing bloggy buddy Cindy I just love her style in crafting she always makes her showcasing on any project stand out...... If you haven't been to her blog you should check her out, she is "Amazing"!
Now, back to my card, boy did I have fun putting my cutie together.  Yes I had her paper piece, using beaded paper from Papertrey Ink.  My flower was a RAK that I got quite sometime ago I just added a button to the center with some bakers twine. The embossing folder is from Quic Kutz, banner die from My Creative Time, sentiment comes with the PK stamp set. and the border die from Die-Namics.

Aw - so cute in real!

Well that's it for now - will be back later with another posting!

Kitty in the flower pot!

Yes, another kitty cat image!  Love doing animal images they are fun to work with and can make anyone smile.   This was another freebie that I got without no name or from what site, but I do thank you for it.  Love the CAS look of it, I like to rotate my backgrounds at times in stead of filling every corner of a card.   LOL!  For this particular card I went with pro markers and Spectrum noir, added some gems from Taylored Expression, washi tape from Scotch got this at Target, and sentiment die from Paper Smooches.

Enjoy your crafty day!

Just dropping by to share another stash card for my card box.... Here is a digital image who knows where I got this from.    I had this printed up in my file and didn't put a post it on it to identify where I got it from.... oops again!   But I love cats and they were too cute to pass them by back then.   They were all colored with some Spectrum noir markers, added glossy accents and stickles to their party hats.  Sentiment is a laser cut from Island Scrapbooking, added washi tape to the angle of the card.    Quick and simple....
