More occasional cards !

Here's three more cards I worked on this morning for my card file box... My personal stash on my cards were running low and I needed to replenish for unexpected occasions..I made them simple so that I could use them for any occasional use...

Used my digi image  and inked them up with copic & MS markers,
did my border  with spellbinders and  used my scrap DP

Here's another digi image don't remember where I got this one from,
used my spellbinders - label 1 and spellbinders  foliage to make
the leaves added gems, inked the  image with copic & MS
markers and scrap DP
Flower stamp is from Anita's collection, inked them up
with copic markers and added pearls to the middle and solid
CS for the background.
These were simple and fun to do, I have more inked up images I still need to put together.  So off I go to think how to put the rest of them together..
Thanks for popping in and will be back again later.
Until then - keep on crafting!
Toodles for now - many hugs to ya all :-)

To Someone Special!

This card was out of my element - too a break from the previous digi's that I have been inking up.
Their is no particular reason why I made this card, I just wanted to keep it handy in my card box so when I do need it at least I have it already made up... I try to keep an assortment of different occasional cards for those unexpected spur of the moments when you least expect something to occur...
I can't remember where I got this digi stamp from but I felt like inking it up.  Used my copic sketch markers and stamped out my butterfly and To Someone Special from Anita's collection, also used my spell binders for the border and added pearls on my butterfly.
Until  then - keep on crafting!
Toodles for now - be back tomorrow...
hugs :-)

Triple Easel Card!

Well here is my trial and error attempt on this new triple easel card that I was inspired by Jenny of crazyforpaper.blogspot.com & sisterstamps.blogspot.com.  First of all big hugs to "JENNY" if you haven't been to their sites please hop on over and see what they have in stored, you will be amazed how talented this two sister's are... By the way thanks Jenny for the info on this easel card.
For my version  I went with the oriental I used my hero arts stamps on the images and the butterfly stamp and thanks for everything is from Anita's on sale at BFranklin stores added embellishes and used two buttons on the middle so that  it would stay still, also added stickles .  Images were inked up with copic and mementos markers.
It was really simple and fun to do, because this was the first I made, my DD came by and asked if she could have it to put it on her desk at her office... How could I refused not to give it to her, that means I would have to create another one ~ right!.  After looking at it, it does make a nice gift  to give to someone special as  a decor on their desk table etc...

BTW - this triple easel card does fit nicely in a long envelope...
Thanks for stopping in and hope you come back again...
Have a happy crafty weekend!
LOL to ya all ~ keep safe.

DQ - Buster Bar Anyone?

2nd post for today- didn't have time to post it early had a bunch of house chores and errands to do this afternoon.  So much for those petty stuff.   Anyway it was pretty humid today on the BIsland and I decided to play around with my scraps and this is what I came up with.  This is a fun card and although it is also one of my faves.. Who doesn't like Buster Bars!  Enjoy~

DQ - Buster Bar

I embossed the brown CS, used my scallop punch to punch out the corner like someone took a big bite out of it, for the stick I just cut a scrap of beige CS and shaped it  like a Popsicle stick added a ribbon and did the sentiment on the computer.
Well enjoy!
Toodles for now, hugs to ya all!

Thank you card, for Tata!

Here's a little token of appreciation card that I made for one of our dear family friend that we had over for Father's Day dinner.  We call him tata, he always comes over and share's his garden veggies with us.  And his so funny how he tells us his stories about his garden and how certain flowering of his veggies all these dragonflies would come and surround them and his flowerbeds.  So with this card I baked him a batch of banana bread (3) loaves.

Card was created using my Create A Critter cartridge, hero arts sentiment and ribbon, gems.

Have a happy day and I will be back later to post another upcoming card.
Hugs :-)

You're Special!

2nd post for today!  Getting into the groove of finally putting all my cards together.. Whew~
So here's another of Precious Moments digital stamps that I had colored awhile back and  I wanted to show her off.  I can easily get myself distracted, I will work on a project then if something crosses my thought of thinking I will put what I started away and work from one project to the next and then I end up with a box of unfinished projects.  So before that pile gets any bigger I am now trying to straighten that file box first before I make a disaster of everything.  So here is my "You're Special".
She was inked up with copic and MS markers, did the sentiment on my computer ~ she is my DD  favorite.  I have a couple more of her that I will be sharing so stay tuned for those coming up soon.  Like I said I'm working on my file boxes and she is the most  that I need to get done.
So until we meet again ~ Take Care!
Many hugs to ya all~

Be Happy!

Here's a card I wanted to share, this image reminds me of my youngest GD3.  She loves to wade in the pool and loves to go to the park to feed the ducks.  So here's a card for Maile!

I colored this digital stamp with copic and memento markers, used Spellbinders #4 added pearls to pop it out.  Isn't she adorable~
Until we meet again - Toodles!

Criss Cross Pocket Card!

My 2nd post for today ~ I was simply in the mood, OMG!
Here is a card  I got inspired while I was hopping over Karen's blog this morning, she did an envelope card so I figured it look simple enough for me to do.  I also hopped over to Whiff of Joy and checked out other cards they had tutorials on and I came across this card that I think is similar to the envelope card, this card is called the criss cross pocket card and Jeanette has a tutorial on it.  I was amazed by this blog site, they have some really interesting things that are very helpful.  So here is my creation on this criss cross pocket card, which is darn easy to do.  I used C.C. Designs ( Ice Cream Birgitta) she and Tilda are on my top list right now. I think they are both the cutest stamps to ink up. So anyway I inked her up with copics and MS markers, the sentiment is from Hero Arts, I also drew my own ice cream cones for the inside of the card and inked that up with MS markers I also added red stickles on the ice cream tops.

Well, it's time for me to tidy up my craft room, I needed to put all my itty bitty scrap together so I can work on my Cricut projects.  I will try to get one out tomorrow!
Toodles for now~
Big hugs to ya all :-)

Aloha & Welcome!

Happy Sunday~
Well it was a great day yesterday (Saturday) for us, we had our family luncheon and had my GF & her family over as well.  They were here since this past Thursday from Modesto California for her HB nephew's graduation party on the west side of the island.  Since I haven't seen her (Sara) from high school days we sure had a lot of catching up to do.  I made her this card and also gave her several bags of coffee from the island to take back home.  They both love their coffee!   It was a short trip  for them , both needed to go back  and work on Monday.
So here's  the card I made for her and she was so excited about it!
I did the sentiment from my computer, the stamp ALOHA is from Stampin' up collection, the volcano I did it on my Cricut from the cartridge ( Create A Critter).  the stamp is C.C.Designs Swiss Pixies - Welcome Birgitta, colored her with my copic and memento makers, the oval scallop punch is from Marvy Uchida and added yellow pearls to pop it out on DP and made it a little tourist like.  I was kinda of proud of it!
Thanks for stopping by~

Mirror Mirror!

Happy Friday everyone~
Here's a cute story that I wanted to share with you all, last night we were invited to our friends house warming dinner.  And here was this little girl her name was Samantha and she's 4 years old.  Well after we all had dinner we all stood around the tables and talk about the good ole' times.  And here was little Samantha and she was sitting across both my HB and I and she had a little brush and a compact mirror.  And she kept saying Mirror, mirror on the wall, whose the fairest of them all.  And she had a big smile and said "ME".  We all clap our hands and said of course Samantha.  I thought this was the cutest thing she did, her mom said she always pretends in the mirror that she wants to be a princess.   So this morning I thought I would create a card and make this for Samantha.  She's the most darling thing at her age... So here's what I came up with!
Colored Farmer Tilda with copics , added paper roses. glued a octagon mirror by
( Darice) added pearls to pop it out,  printed the sentiment from my computer, and Wah La!
FYI - the mirror is a real glass mirror...
I can't get over this - it was surreal.
Thanks for stopping by~
Happy weekend to you all.

Pocket Full of Flowers!

2nd post for today ~ Woo Hoo!
Here's a simple card that I made and I thought this was kinda cute to put together.  I cut a 11 x 5 inch CS and scored it on the horizontal  2 1/2 x 6 3/4.  Fold along score lines and I used double-sided sticky tape to form a 4 1/4 x 5 inch pocket.  Adhere bottom edge of pocket in the same manner.  You can use your imagination the way you want to decorate the front..  For the insert card I cut a 4 x 5 1/2 inch CS and another piece 3 3/4 x 5 1/2  to put on the front.  This one I added felt flowers, did my border with MS punch and added gross ribbon and pearls to pop it out.

Until we meet again - thanks for stopping by~
Big HUGS :-)

So much for all that!
Here's my card, I colored my digital with copics and Mementos markers, my stamp is Spring Emma and she was colored with copics, my sentiment is from the Hero Arts collection.

Gifts for You!

2nd post for today ! Woo Hoo....
Going through all my teeny bits of scraps, instead of tossing them out I cut them in little pieces in case I need them for my Big Shot or Cricut projects.  So while fussing with them I thought of making little gift packages to put on a card.  I think it's kinda cute in a way!  I also used my MS corner punch and make that look like a ribbon on the gift packages and added gross ribbon and pearls to spike it up, and used my Hero Arts birthday sentiment.

Until we meet again - Toodles!
Keep safe and Have a Blessed Day~
LOL......

Swinging Tildas!

Hello everyone ~ hope you all have enjoyed your weekend so far.  It's a gorgeous day today on the BIsland.
Here is my first post for today, I decided to create a little silly card by using Mini Sweetheart Tilda and doing a double of her and pretending they are two twin sister's swinging on their pretend tire swing.
I colored both of them with copic markers and they don't like being dressed identical one likes purple and the other one likes pink.  The one in the  purple I call her Matilda and in the pink she is called Tilda, I made it so it would rhyme (he, he). I used twine to weave through my spellbinders #4 and make it like a swing, and punched out my butterflies with MS punch, and(brown sugar) velvet ribbon on the bottom of the card for cushion in case they fell.  So here they are:

Enjoy your day!

Birthday card for Maury!

2nd Post for today, yes I know!  Just got back from the basketball tournament and my GD1 BFF birthday is today (Maury) and so she asked me if I could make a card for her because all the team member's were going to her house this evening for some cake & ice cream.   So this is what I came up!  She hinted that Maury's favorite colors are pink / purple.  Colored Magnolia with copics and MS markers, added some pearls and paper roses  &  spellbinders #4.

Waiting for the coloring to dry!

All completed!
Hope she enjoys the card ~ Happy Birthday Maury she made 6 years old!

I Miss You Beary Much!

Weekend is here, hope every one's  enthusiastic as I am..  I wanted to post another card I made early this morning before I head out to watch my two GD's play in their basketball tournament this morning.
Here's another center step card or some call it the Zig Zag card, I just like cutting this pattern out, it's so simple and quick to put together.  So, what I did I pre-cut a bunch of CS so it's their when I want to whip up another card.  On this card I colored my digital stamp with copics and MS markers, added laced ribbon on the border of the card and some blings & pop dots on the image.

Surfin U.S.A!

Here's this new card the Zig Zag  or Center step card  that I've been seeing in so many blog sites since I've been hopping around.   It's one of those so simple cards to create, and fast to put together..
I used Surfer Ian from the Greeting Farm, colored him with copics and MS markers.  Sentiments I made from my computer.

Inside of card
I think I'm going to give this one a try on LLC Challenge #41 - Inspired by Song
Surfin' Ian is going Beach Boy style:  Surfin' U.S.A!  This song was a favorite for me, many moons ago.
I still remember the lyrics, and it goes like this:
If everybody had an ocean across the U.S.A
Then everybody's be surfin' like California
You'd seem 'em wearing their baggies
Huarachi sandals too
A bushy bushy blonde hairdo
Surfin' U.S.A
You'd catch 'em surfing at DelMar
Ventura County line
Santa Cruz and Trestle
Australia's hanabeen
All over Manhattan
And down Doheny way
Everybody's gone surfin'
Surfin' U.S.A.

Wow I may have messed up on some of the lyrics, that kinda took my breath away. (he,he).  At least you have some idea of what the words to that song is about.
Until then toodles for now!
Have a great rest of the day or evening!
Hugs :-)
