Here's another new stamp from Sister Stamp LLC, 2nd release , I have her in this recessed window card. They are so easy and fun to do... So on to my card, Miyono wants to say arigato, I also had her paper pieced, added a little flower to her hair, added stickles to her kimono, flowers from Wild Orchid Craft, leaves and sentiment from IS(Island Scrapbooking) papers from Garden Party Collection, also used copic and promarkers..
Now on to my two projects for September, I'm playing again in the Secret Sister Swap, and for this month the theme is using the color(s) Red, Brown or Orange.. So for my project I used all three colors. And for my secret sister swap I did for her a checkbook cover and a tag.. I used the stamp Swiss Pixies (Laying Nora), had her paper pieced, used MS and copic markers, paper flowers, stickes, lace, Spellbinders Oval large Scallop, I also had her tag laminated so it wouldn't get ruined... I hope she enjoys it! To get more deets on participating in this Secret Sister Swap, hop on over and check out Kris . This is not a competition swap but a fun swap, I got to meet some amazing blogger's and I just love to meet new people and talk about crafting and exchanging... So come on give it a try, the more the merrier....
And for my last project I also played along in the C.A.T.S (card and tag swap) and for this month the theme was using Flowers on your card... So for my partner I did a Tri-S fold card and also a tag. This one was a little tricky, I swapped heads, I used Swiss Pixies (Hawaiian Brigitta's head) and put it on Swiss Pixies (Welcome Brigitta's body).. How cool was this, huh! I thought she look cutier this way because she already had the flower on her hair....I used Shinhan and copic markers, DP from scraps I tried to used what ever flowery idea to represent the theme....I embossed the Spellbinders Oval Scallop, the butterfly is a dimensional sticker, ribbon, buttons and twine and the sentiment from Studio G. To get deets on this one hop on over to Joy and check it out.... This is also not a competition swap but a fun swap...
