MY BLOG CANDY HERE!
Here a CAS card I made for one of my hubby's co-worker's mom that passed away recently. These are one of those sensitive cards that I find so hard to make but in times of those sudden episodes it's probably a good idea to keep some of them in handy... It's been a while since I've done one and I know I should be making more just in case!
For this card I used Cuttlebug embossing folder, Spellbinders (label seventeen), satin ribbon, Pebbles candy dots and sentiment from Stampendous Clear Stamps.
Thanks for stopping by!
Enjoy your day/evening~
Awww, I know how you feel, I never seem to make them until I have to. Love the colors that you used, very pretty.

I never have any sympathy cards on hand. I keep meaning to make them but it's always so difficult to make them. Your card is lovely and I'm sure it will be greatly appreciated.

ReplyDeleteYour sympathy card is beautiful, Shirl. Beautiful CAS design and love the soft ribbon. I have a hard time with these cards, too. I try to make more than one when I make them to keep them on hand.
ReplyDeleteThis is elegant and beautiful, Shirl!! The embossing is gorgeous!! Sorry you have to use it, though. I need to make some up to have when needed, too but they are just so hard to make. You did an awesome job :)

I agree. Sympathy cards are always hard to make, but I think you did on wonderful job on your card. The embossed background with the script saying works so nicely together.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and elegant!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty for such a sad occasion. After needing one and realizing a sympathy card is to hard to make "in the moment" I now make them when I don't need so I have some in my stash.
ReplyDeleteSimple and perfect!
