Went into some creative mood yesterday evening and decided to make some bread boxes and of course baking some yummylicious Papaya bread to go with it. These were given to my exercise instructors this morning and they gave squeezes and kisses for being one of their fun and upbeat participant in their class.
I really like how those bread boxes turned out, and it's using just (1) sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock and (1) 6 x 6 designer paper and whatever embellishments to decorate it. The best part was baking those yummy "Papaya Bread" some may be saying Papaya how yucky is that, you'll be surprise how delish it is. It's one of my best recipes to make and I love playing with the recipients mines and make them guess what's in the bread. So I can't wait until tomorrow to hear what those three ladies come up with...
So let's all drool on these now:
So what do you think - don't they make cute Mother's Day Gifts?
BTW - the boxes are quick and simple to make, so I will be prepping and baking more of these to come.
Recipe:
Papers - Scrapbook Customs, KC Co.
Martha Stewart border punch
Colored tissue paper to matched up with the boxes - :)
Sentiment - freebie stash
Scallop tag- My Creative Time
Raffia, twine, poly bag
