A CAS Christmas Tag!

My blog candy here!

Here's another project I did using Morgan Fitzimons digi (Christmas border), I shrunk this image down to 2.5 inches so I could get it to fit on my tag die that I bought from My Creative Time.   Oh boy, was this somewhat a bit time consuming also, the image was a bit teeny and I had to gently stroke my Spectrum Noir and copic makers onto the image, I added stickles to give it a pop, back papers are from Pebbles (Welcome Christmas), Poinsettia from Wild Orchid, red sheer ribbon and the sentiment is also from My Creative Time.

Thanks for taking another peek in!

Happy Day!

Hello all my crafty friends~
Here's another card I made using the digi image from Morgan Fitzimons (Christian Christmas). Whew was this one a bit challenging, lots of fine detailing and I believe this is the first card that I colored that took me the longest to ever accomplish... LOL!  I used Spectrum Noir and copic markers, Sakura gel pens, papers from stash, sentiment from American Crafts and pearls.

Minnie Mouse Box of Cards Set!

BLOG CANDY HERE!

Happy Friday all my crafty friends~
I've done another card box, but this time  made some matching cards to go as a set.. My daughter's birthday is coming up next week and she's been a Minnie Mouse fan since she was wee small. I really love this card box style and it's so quick to put together, well if you are going to dress it up then it will take a bit more timing to complete.  LOL!  Their is so much possibilities with this box I mean you really need to at least  try and make one.  It's sturdy and makes such a wonderful gift or even  to make a mass production of it for craft fairs.  For this project it was more  time consuming cutting all my pieces for Minnie Mouse, I had her cut at 3.25 and she is layered so I could have her nice and thick.  Lots of intricate pieces and patience to get her all dressed up and it can become a challenge having steady hands and gluing at the same time.
I used a bunch of different  scrap papers, sentiments, gems, pearls, die cuts , brads, twine and ribbon to have it all mentioned would make this post even longer... If you are interested to know on a particular card just email me and I can reply to what I actually used.
I had my neighbor Wendy over yesterday and she sat with me for couple of hours while I was working on this project and she wants me to make her a bunch for Christmas gifts I told her I can't promise her for this Christmas I'm just too over - whelm with projects I need to catch up. I had all my 2013 calendars  put on hold (looks like I'm going to lose my bet with my hubby) things keep popping up that I can't refuse to not do.... Will have to see how fast I can produce first, hehe!
Well on to my Minnie Mouse card set ~ I'm so thrilled the way it came out.. In real it's just so perfect and I can't wait to see my daughter's reaction when she opens up this gift....
Oops on the pics, I tried to hurry while taking photos this morning, battery light kept flashing (low battery) of all times. LOL!
This set consists of (4) cards (4) envelopes it actually holds (6) of each.

Hello peeps~

For my take on this challenge I did a "S" Fold card with (Birthday Girl with a Gift Box), papers from DoodleBug, sentiments from My Craft Spot & Hero Arts,  die cuts from Spellbinders ovals & scallops and My Creative Time, Spectrum Noir and copic markers.

Thanks for stopping by  and  peeking in!

Another Card Box!

BLOG CANDY HERE!

While blog hopping early this morning, I came across my blogging friend Karon with a card box that caught my attention....I've been trying all different types of card boxes and each one I've been doing is just endless, they are all easy peasy to do and just love all the different styles to them...So I gave it a try and this is what I ended up creating.  Since my Cricut is back out again busy with some projects I'm working on , I had my letters cut at  1" using my Jasmine cartridge, my papers are from Kaiser Craft, Candi from Craftworks, ribbon, and Spellbinder's Label Ten.
Love how it  looks in real, the designer papers for CARDS is Swiss dotted but it didn't show clear on the photo.  It actually can hold up to  (6)cards & (6) envelopes like Karon mentioned.

For our carpenter!

BLOG CANDY HERE!

Here's a birthday card I made for our carpenter his birthday this year falls on Thanksgiving so I wanted a head start on doing his card before I get myself distracted from my other projects that I'm working on..  I'm so very happy that  our contractor and his worker did an amazing job on our new ceilings and dining room flooring...  It has that country flair to it, now I hinted to hubby that I want to change my decors, hummmm he said... LOL!
I downloaded the images from coloring pages.com to reflect what he loves doing.   I used Spectrum Noir and copic markers, papers from stash, sentiment /tag from My Creative Time, Spellbinders ovals, twine and  Cuttlebug embossing folder on a silver metallic paper I had on hand.

Thanks for always peeking in!
Enjoy your new crafty week~

Card Holder!

BLOG CANDY HERE!

Happy Sunday everyone~
Hope your weekend was awesome and you had some extra time to craft.  It's another gorgeous hot day as always on the Big Island from my end of the island anyway.
Here's an Accordion Style Card Holder that I did this morning - easy peasy!  I played around with this spare card stock that I had just to see how my first take on this project would end up looking, and I'm amazed how pretty in real it is.   You can find the tutorial here and I was surprised how quick it was to put together.  It actually can hold up to 9 - 12 cards plus envelopes  in this card holder.  And it fits perfectly with the basic 4.25 x 5.5 cards.  Depending on the thickness of your card too, these would make perfect gifts for the upcoming holiday's or any occasion.  They would be great for those craft fairs that's being going on!   If you can't sell all those accumulated cards you have stashed, well here's one way of giving them as gifts.  That's what I'm planning to do this year.
So hope this idea gets you inspired and of course use your wild imagination and design it any which way that pleases you..  Here's my take:

Recipe for my card holder:
Papers - no name bought it  from a sale bin
Ribbon - velcro closures,
Martha Stewart border punch

Thanks for taking a peek ~ enjoy your day/evening!
