It's a blast!

I have several cards that I worked on since 3:00 am this morning, I know some might think I'm crazy, where the heck I get all my energy from... I guess I'm used to getting up super early and as long as my dear hubby is okay with that I see no reason not to be in my 2nd  best room of the house ( my craft room, he,he).
Anyhoo, my first card is a digi one of those that has been sitting in my file container for such a long time.. His been inked up wih copic and MS markers, and the best part my sewing on the edges of my three cards...
Yes, my sewing!  I've been procrastinating for such a long time, and everytime I see so many of you sewing on your cards... I said it's time to bust out my sewing machine and get it going again.....LOL.. Just so you all know I once was an active sewer, I started many moons ago from my  intermediate school years .  It was my passion just sewing, sewing , sewing.... I even used to work at  Singer Sewing  on the BIsland until they got bought out by Discount Fabric Store.... Ok, enough of me babbling on...  Back to my cards~
Continue on my first card, I also added brads and I clear embossed the sentiment and that came from Oriental trading.
My second card is from C.C. Designs (Cupcake Kiki) she's been inked up with copic and MS markers, sewing on the edges, gems, brad, sentiment from Hero Arts, scraps, stickles, liquid pearls.
My last card is C.C. Designs, Sugarplums ( Spring Emma) she also has been inked up with copic and MS markers, gems, sewing on the card, sentiment from Studio G and scraps.

Well, it's time for me to clean up and my dear hubby wants me to make him a scrumptious cake (yummy) if you are interested in the recipe email me and I can give it to you...
Thanks for peeping in!
Hugs to all of you!

  2. Even if I got up early I wouldn't get as much done as you do in one session. Your cards turned out wonderfully and remind me that I need to start using those images that I've been hoarding. Thanks.

  6. These are so cute Shirl! My you are up so early. I can't make that many cards at one sitting. I'm a slow crafter. I used to work for Singer too. I used to teach sewing classes there during the summer at the Kahala Mall store.

You don't need the die - you can just get a circle and cut it into a swirl (if you know what I mean!) - have fun making them!

  13. 3am? Are u kidding me? LOL, that's about the time I'm going to bed on weekends! Love the sewing you've done on these...adds such a lovely touch to your cards. Is it hard to do? This is a technique I've been wantint to try for such a long time, but been too scared to try.
