Seasons Greetings!

These cards were created yesterday morning but I didn't have the time to have them posted until this morning.... Our good friend whom we call tata stopped by yesterday and brought us some vegetables from his garden.... So I decided to cook up a pot of pinakbet with chicken (yummo) and we took it down to his house after hubby got home from work and spent dinner at their house...
So anywho back to my cards - since my cricut was still starring at me on my work table I decided to create two more cards and here they are:  my first card is called stitched and the second card is tweety.
I just added ribbon, sentiment (season greetings) from Studio G and I embossed it, Marvy Uchida scallop oval punch, gems, button, twine sentiment on (birthday wishes) YNS Stamp.
And my last card is for tata's grandson ) Ivan who also turned 7 years old yesterday and since he loves riding his skateboard I used my stamps from YNS along with the sentiment and star, papers from stash and ribbon...
Thanks for taking a peek!
Have a beautiful day/evening!
Hugs to you all~

  13. Cute cards, Shirl! Pinakbet is delish! Haven't made it in years, though.

I saw you posted on someone's blog about being a DT member. I forget the blog, but it was someone who had to step down from three different DT's.

I'm currently on two DT's. Generally, you apply to be on a DT unless you are invited. I was asked to be on one of the DT's I am on right now. For the other, I had to apply.

Normally, when a DT is looking for new DT members, they will announce it on their blog. They also list their requirements which usually includes samples of your work. If you get selected for the DT, you will be given project assignments. For example, for the last one I did, it was a tag where I had to follow a "recipe". One I'm working on now is a card where the requirement is that we use glitter. Basically, they tell you what to make. Then, you take pictures of your project and upload to the DT blog. The DT blog is where you communicate with the other DT members. The DT coordinator takes all the pics and uploads to the public blog. You keep the project you created for the assignment. Hope this helps!
